  • Very advanced Excel skills and very strong software skills across a wide variety of programs, including Great Plains/FRx, Hyperion Essbase, Monarch, Lawson, SQL query writing, ODBC queries, Crystal Reports,database design, everything Microsoft and much more. Bachelor's degree in Accounting Information Systems.
Key Accomplishments
  • Initiated, led and personally managed the implementation of a new ERP system used by 90% of the company's employees over 18 months to a modern, SQL-based platform. Assembled a cross functional team of 15 company experts, wrote SQL queries and led data audits to verify perfect data conversions. Managed schedule and deliverable planning, wrote "change management" plan to gain buy-in from company employees.
  • Designed, implemented and managed elaborate, detail-level forecasting process for 30 cost centers from customer/division level to company summary, including 20+ month projected income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement and debt compliance reports.
  • Designed a new process to consolidate the PL, balance sheet and cash flow statement for a $400 million/year holding company with 8 separate legal entities. Redesigned manual process to use a new financial database that interfaced automatically with the accounting system. RESULT: Reduced consolidation processing time from 3 days to 45 minutes, improving accuracy and reducing human error.
  • Overhauled residential dispatch system. Supervised the transition from a manual, paper based process to an efficient, computerized solution for a 50-truck transportation department.RESULT: Immediate productivity increase of 25% for direct labor workforce plus 40% reduction in administrative salary costs.
